| The Annapurna’s:
The Annapurna Region in west central Nepal is the most geographically and culturally diverse region for trekking, offering treks from 3 days to 3 weeks. This area consists of sub-tropical lowlands, valleys, deep gorges, raging rivers, forests of bamboo, oak and rhododendron; alpine meadows and windswept desert plateaus all overlooked by the seemingly endless and hugely majestic Annapurna range. Along with its geographical diversity the Annapurna region is home to many of Nepal’s ethnic tribes and castes such as Brahmins, Chettris, Newars, Gurungs, Magars, Manangis and Tibetans.
