Despite being the closest ranges to Kathmandu, the Langtang and Helambu treks are often overlooked in favour of Everest and the Annapurna’s. With the start points an easy bus ride from the capital city, these trekking routes offer magnificent, un-crowded, relatively low altitude, week long treks, through interesting villages in sparsely populated areas with amazing Himalayan views.
